Using a broad background and global experience to bring valuable strategy for protecting clients’ IP assets
Qiang (Victor) Han counsels clients in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, diagnostic, and medical device fields. Victor has more than 10 years of experience in patent filing, prosecution, licensing, trade secret, and intellectual property issues.
Prior to joining McNeill Baur PLLC, Victor spent more than 10 years as an IP Counsel at 3M. In this role, he managed all patent issues, including prosecution of US, PCT, and foreign patent applications, portfolio development and strategy, and drafting IP-related agreements. He also provided counseling to business leaders on domestic and foreign intellectual property matters. Prior to 3M, Victor was an analyst for Cardinal Intellectual Property and a patent agent for Beier Bio-Technology Co. Ltd. in China. Victor also has experience in materials science fields, as well as litigation, trademark, and copyrights.
